Chapter 1.2 – “Not” a stalker

The next day, Rosa decided to start her little garden with a lettuce seed she’d found.

And then the fateful car came. She shouldn’t have taken the job. She was supposed to start over not go through her teenage hood again. The woman in the car gave her clothes to put on. Right, she was a decoy.

She was dropped off at the old theatre, and Rosa went to her first day at work.

First day was…okay. But as she left the building she saw that guy again. He was also working in the criminal buisiness. Maybe he really had had something to do…that meant he hadn’t really rejected her…and with that in mind she followed him to his house. And then she stared into his window not really wanting to talk to him. Some people might have called her a stalker.

“Heeeellllooooooo,” Said a voice behind her. Startled she spun around, suddenly feeling guilty.

“AHHH! It’s not what you think!” Rosa stammered, except it was exactly what he was thinking.

“Uhuh…” He said unbelieving.

“I wasn’t stalking them or anything, I was just admiring their really pretty house!” She continued.

“It’s not like I’m a stalker or anything like that!”

“hahaha! Don’t worry, I work in the old theatre too!” The man laughed.

“Here let’s start over, I’m Alfie Lakes.”

“Awesome! My name’s Rosa Blams.” She said.

“Cool, hey do you want to-” Alfie started.

The man Rosa had “not” been stalking came running out. “You again? Are you stalking me?” He asked, but before Rosa could answer Alfie said; “Hey Ethan, how you doin’?” without even glancing at him.

And then Ethan noticed what the two had going on here. Completely ignoring Alfie, he turned to Rosa with what seemed like sudden newfound interest. “Hey look you’re forgiven, no harm done. Here’s my number we should hang out sometime.” Aflie looked at both of them, his eyes lingering on Rosa. “Look, I’m just gonna go,” Then he turned and left.

After exchanging phone numbers…”I’m also gonna head in, but you take care girl. I’ll se you around.” Then Ethan also left.

Rosa also decided to leave, no point staying on someone else’s lawn.

For the next few days, Etha started to call her, mostly in the mornings.

And after work, Rosa would hang out with Alfie (how convenient that they had the same work hours!) they would race to his house (also conveniently right beside the old theatre) like kids and then just hang out. Sadly he was in much better shape than she was. (you can actually see alfie in the background!)

Then in the evening, Alfie would call and they would chat. Rosa was liking the attention from the two boys. Would one finally ask her out or would she have to choose?

My try at a suspenseful ending, lol!

  1. Jax says:

Alfie! Alfie! 😀 He’s adorable. But also because I think Ethan just wants her attention now because he saw that Alfie was trying to get it. That’s just him being jealous, not because he actually likes her. I think she should go with Alfie cause he has AWESOME freckles that are just adorable. Sorry. I just find freckles cute.

Anyways, another great chapter 🙂 Keep it up.

  2. I don’t trust Ethan, it seems that he only wants her because Alfie does. I just hope that she doesn’t get hurt because of their little rivalry

  3. Madcapp says:

    I agree with vampireXheart!
I also really like Alfie. He seems nice and quite cute whereas Ethan comes off as a bit of a jerk. Already.

  4. Melanie Baker says:

me thinks Alfie. He’s so cute.
